Moto Art Show in Bengaluru
AN EXHIBITION, ENTITLED “FIRST OF ITS name”, is being held at the Peeple tree art Gallery, Bengaluru, throughout the month of april. It aims to showcase works of art inspired by motorcyclists, motorbikes, and their journeys. the show is the brainchild of mallika Prakash and is aimed at bringing “moto art” to the forefront of the Indian art world. the début show will feature works by 12 multi-disciplinary moto artists from all over the country. It is intended to provide a platform to these artists while creating a new wave of art aficionados, art lovers, and patrons.
mallika, herself a biker and engineerturned-moto-artist, said, ‘Paintings, illustrations, metal sculptures using bike parts, film, performance — you name it and we have it. this is the first time such an event is happening in India with so much motorcycle art in one place. We will have around 80 unique pieces of art for sale. there’s something for everyone in this exhibition if you love motorcycles.’
