Moto Art Show in Ben­galuru

AN EX­HI­BI­TION, EN­TI­TLED “FIRST OF ITS name”, is be­ing held at the Peeple tree art Gallery, Ben­galuru, through­out the month of april. It aims to show­case works of art in­spired by mo­tor­cy­clists, mo­tor­bikes, and their jour­neys. the show is the brain­child of mallika Prakash and is aimed at bring­ing “moto art” to the fore­front of the In­dian art world. the début show will fea­ture works by 12 multi-dis­ci­plinary moto artists from all over the coun­try. It is in­tended to pro­vide a plat­form to these artists while cre­at­ing a new wave of art afi­ciona­dos, art lovers, and pa­trons.

mallika, her­self a biker and en­gi­neer­turned-moto-artist, said, ‘Paint­ings, il­lus­tra­tions, metal sculp­tures us­ing bike parts, film, per­for­mance — you name it and we have it. this is the first time such an event is happening in In­dia with so much mo­tor­cy­cle art in one place. We will have around 80 unique pieces of art for sale. there’s some­thing for ev­ery­one in this ex­hi­bi­tion if you love mo­tor­cy­cles.’
