TVS Ntorq 125

Bike India - - OUR BIKES - — Sanjay Raikar

We have a new student in class, diligently dropped off by TVS Motor Company: the Ntorq 125. Over the coming months, we will be putting this pupil through a variety of real-life tests and see how it fares as the odometer ticks away. Although the Ntorq is only a few weeks old in our garage, most of us have already taken a liking to the yellow scooter. Besides, as someone who is still getting used to Pune, I find the navigation feature quite useful.

TVS claim that the scooter has derived some style elements from stealth aircraft and it is fairly evident from a few angles; giving the scooter a sporty character. That being said, the funky design may not appeal to riders of all age-groups.

The 125-cc engine of this scooter churns out a healthy amount of torque that manifests brilliantly in the mid-range; a definite boon for city riding. Although there are no problems at the moment, we are apprehensive of how the fitting of the numerous plastic bits will endure in the long run. Considering monsoon is already upon us, this should get interesting.
