Bookings Open for 2020 Kawasaki Versys 1000

KAWASAKI INDIA HAVE OPENED PRE-BOOKINGS FOR THEIR BIG TOURER, model-year 2020 Versys 1000, at Rs 1.5 lakh across all Kawasaki dealerships in the country. Kawasaki haven’t announced the launch or the delivery dates, but they did say that deliveries would start after April 2019. The bike will join Kawasaki’s current locally assembled range consisting of 12 models from the Kawasaki plant at Chakan, Pune.

The Versys is powered by a liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine and will get a number of enhancements such as the new Electronic Throttle Valves (ETV) which, in turn, enable the Electronic Cruise Control. The bike also gets updated suspension, ABS as standard, Kawasaki’s Traction Control (KTRC), three riding modes, a new instrument console with a bank angle display, an adjustable windscreen, and LED headlamps.
