Envisaging a 650 Thunderbird

Now that Royal Enfield have launched their parallel 650 twins and are willing to take the game forward with a higher capacity Bobber recently shown at EICMA, which, though a concept model, has garnered a lot of applause, I sincerely think that it’s a perfect time to roll out an upgraded Thunderbird based on the Interceptor’s platform. Here’s my idea of a 650 Thunderbird. Please let me know your views on it.

Thank you for sharing your design with our readers. We are sure you aren’t the only one who wishes to see the new 650-cc parallel twin make its way to the Thunderbird and Classic and Bullet ranges as well. Your illustration gives us a good idea of what the bike could look like if this were, in fact, to happen. However, Royal Enfield have not yet made an official announcement on whether or not they are willing to create a 650 T-bird. We’ll just have to wait and see.
