Tetsuta Nagashima

The second rider is 26-year-old Tetsuta nagashima of Japan who started his career a long time ago. in fact, he has participated in famous races such as Suzuka Eight hours and all Japan championship, where he won the title in 2011. nagashima has been associated with honda since his Japanese championship days. in 2013, the youngster made his Moto2 FiM cEV Repsol début in Japan, riding for JiR Team, and, in 2014, he was selected to ride full-time for JiR. he made his Moto2 début in 2017, riding for team Teluru Sag, and, in 2018, he joined idemitsu honda Team asia. over these years the Japanese rider achieved some amazing results with his best finish coming in Thailand in 2018, when he finished in the eighth position.

during our interaction with nagashima, he mentioned that the entire racing culture in Moto2 is quite different from what he grew up with; however, he said he had no problems adapting to the fastpaced world of Moto2.

We also had a word with honda Team asia Moto3 riders, Kaito Toba and nakarin atiratphuvapat. Both the riders were very calm and explained that Moto3 is a totally different ball game for them.
