VIKRAM PAWAH, President and CEO, BMW Group India

Vikram Pawah took charge as the President of BMW Group India recently. He is familiar with the job at hand as previously he had been heading the Indian arm of BMW for many years. Pawah holds an MBA degree from the Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia. Earlier, in 2017, he had joined BMW Group India as the President, after which he was appointed as the CEO of the BMW Group Australia and New Zealand in August 2018. Due to some unavoidable circumstances, he was also given the additional responsibility of managing the Indian business.

Last year, the premium German two-wheeler firm introduced the BMW R 1250 R and R 1250 RT Pro in India and, more recently, the BMW F 900 R roadster and its faired sibling, the F 900 XR. BMW have aggressive plans for India and, under Pawah’s leadership, they will be introducing a host of new models, including the BS6 version of the BMW G 310 R naked and the G 310 GS adventure-tourer.
