How did your first season in MotoGP go? Miguel Oliveira (MO):
My first season was a bit up and down for sure. it was a very good season until the second half before i got the shoulder injury, but it was a really nice experience and for sure very tough, but it only made us stronger. We have been through very tough times. The team also had a very unique situation for the first with this bike, KTM for the first time supplying a bike to the second team so it was not an easy first season but we are in a much better situation now.
KTM’s factory team is looking good for the 2021 season. How do you feel about the promotion?
MO:
i am very excited. Obviously, it’s the main team of KTM. i think it’s going to be a big responsibility and i would need to work really hard to try and test new things. i am confident that it will pay off in the future.
What is the best advice from KTM’s test rider, the brilliant Dani Pedrosa?
MO:
i had the opportunity to ride with Dani a couple of times on the track. He is a very helpful rider because he rides in a different way.
What are the bikes that you have in your garage? MO:
i don’t have many bikes in my garage. One bike which i used to ride when i was younger and a couple of bikes for training. That’s it.
