Hero MotoCorp’s e-Motorcycle

Early last year, India’s leading two-wheeler maker opened the doors to its international technical centre in Munich, Germany. And now the buzz is that this tech centre is busy developing a new electric motorcycle. The model is reportedly called “e-US” or “electric Ultra Sport”, hinting at it being a sporty electric bike.

Apart from this, the Munich tech centre is also said to be working on cost-effective electric drivetrains and solutions for using the existing Hero platforms. Although these electricpowered two-wheelers are being developed in Europe, they are expected to be produced here in India.
