What is the best bike within the Rs 2-lakh budget? I am looking for a naked. I have ridden the Gixxer 250 and the power is good. I just didn’t like rear brake performance. What about the FZ 25? What are my other options?

The Bajaj Dominar 400 costs Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom), so it is just within your budget. That’s a good option for touring and has the same 373.27-cc single as the KTM 390 Duke. The BS6 variant of the FZ25 has not yet been launched, so that cannot be an option as of now. You should certainly consider the Suzuki Gixxer 250. It is a more budget-friendly option at Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom) and is a good all-rounder that mixes a bit of the sporty character with a comfortable ride. Lastly, you can also look at the KTM 250 Duke. At Rs 2.01 lakh (ex-showroom), it is the sportiest option of the lot, if that’s what you find most appealing.
