Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401
Swedish marque Husqvarna entered the Indian market with the launch of the Svartpilen 250 and the Vitpilen 250. The café racer-inspired Vitpilen 250 and the scrambler-inspired Svartpilen 250 both feature the standout designs that modern-day Husqvarna motorcycles are known for, merging retro elements like round headlights and mirrors with futuristic bodywork, unique styling, and unmistakable contours. The bigger ’pilen siblings are up next, with a launch expected sometime this year.
The 401s draw power from the brand’s 373.3-cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor which, in turn, is derived from sister manufacturer KTM’s 390 Duke. This engine puts out 43.5 hp and 37 Nm of peak torque. Engine apart, the bigger Huskies are also likely to get a TFT screen and an upgraded electronics package. Expect to see these models in showroom by the end of 2021.
