TVS XL Completes 40 Years

For the last four decades, TVS Motor Company’s moped, the XL, has helped provide mobility to people living even in the remote parts of the country. The first model was officially launched in India back in 1980 and, over the years, the company has sold over one crore units of this moped. As a matter of fact, the company claims that one TVS XL 100 is sold every 60 seconds. This iconic model is now exported to over 10 international markets and continues to be available in our country in the BS6 avatar.
