Bajaj-Triumph Motorcycle Delayed

The first bike to come out of the Bajaj Auto and Triumph Motorcycles’ partnership has been delayed by a year and will now be unveiled in 2023. It looks like the lockdown in India has derailed Bajaj-Triumph’s 2022 launch plan for their first-ever sub-Rs 2 lakh mid-size motorcycle.

In 2017, Bajaj and Triumph joined forces to build a new vehicle platform with a new range of engines from 200 cubic centimetres to 750 cc. Bajaj Auto MD Rajiv Bajaj had revealed that the target was to make something aspirational and affordable with the target pricing starting below Rs 2 lakh. The first model was expected to be launched by the year 2022, but, sadly, the pandemic has pushed the target further now.
