TVS-owned Norton Motorcycles Invest in New Factory
IT WAS NOT TOO LONG AGO THAT TVS Motor Company acquired UK-based Norton Motorcycles and they have some great plans. With a multi-million pound investment, the British motorcycle brand is setting up a new manufacturing facility in Solihull, West Midlands. The new plant will be the main hub for all of Norton’s operations and will also serve as a permanent base for all the staff. The new headquarters will be home to engineering, design, purchase, sales, marketing, and support teams as well as the skilled production team that resumes the manufacture of motorcycles. Production of the Commando Classic model will begin at the Solihull manufacturing plant and Norton have confirmed that production of the V4SS will also commence soon. The facility is expected to be fully operational by the end of the first quarter of 2021.
