Yamaha FZS FI Gets Smartphone Connectivity

-

Yamaha have introduced the 2021 FZ series powered by a BS6 149-cc, fuel-injected engine. Both the FZ-FI and FZ-S have shed two kilos each, bringing the weight down to 135 kg. The price of the FZ-FI is Rs 1.03 lakh while the FZ-S FI costs Rs 1.07 lakh (exshowroom). New features include a side-stand engine cut-off and a re-tuned exhaust which, Yamaha claim, produces a better sound. The more premium FZ-S FI now gets smartphone connectivity (Connect X). This rather basic system through the official smartphone app provides access to certain features such as Answer Back, Driving History, Locate My Bike, E-Lock, Hazard Lamps, and Parking Record. The FZ-FI variant buyers have the option of getting the Connect X installed for Rs 3,000.
