Segway Apex H2 Concept

SEGWAY HAVE UNVEILED THEIR NEXT STRIKING INNOVATION IN THE form of the Apex H2 hydrogen-electric-hybrid bike. Still at the concept stage, Segway and their parent company Ninebot are developing this hybrid-electric platform as an alternative to conventional electric mobility, and the associated charging limitations. The hydrogen to fuel this bike will be contained within solid alloy cylinders called power capsules, and these can be swapped out and refilled as needed, doing away with long charging times associated with electric vehicles.

Segway claim that the Apex H2 will put out the equivalent of 81.5 hp and have a top speed in the region of 150 km/h. The company will commence crowdfunding to bring this concept into reality once 99 preorders for the bike are received, and are promising a 2023 launch. We can’t wait to see one in the flesh.
