the Bmw F 900 R is the latest middleweight roadster from BMW Motorrad. The bike replaces the F 800 R and was launched alongside the F 900 XR, which is the manufacturer’s adventure sport offering. Both bikes make use of a 895-cc parallel twincylinder motor putting out 104.68 hp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The F 900 R was launched to go up against the established competition in this segment, including the Triumph Street Triple, KTM 790 Duke, and Ducati Monster, to name a few. The bike features minimal bodywork, a forwardcanted riding position, and rear-set foot-pegs that enhance its sporty image and it also enjoys the benefits of BMW’s extensive electronics package.
