2021 Ducati XDiavel Launched

DUCATI HAVE LAUNCHED two variants of the 2021 XDiavel cruiser: the Dark at Rs 18 lakh and the fully-loaded Black Star at Rs 22.6 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). The bikes are powered by a 1,262cc Testastretta DVT V-twin that pumps out 160 hp and 127 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox.

The Dark variant gets a shadowy matte finish with the engine and several mechanical components blacked out, while the Black Star can be identified by the dual-tone black and grey colourway punctuated by red accents. The Black Star also gets higher-spec braking and suspension components than the Dark to justify its Rs 4.60-lakh premium.

Both variants come loaded with a full-colour TFT rider interface, riding modes, cruise control, launch control, Bosch IMU for lean-sensitive ABS, and traction control, while the Black Star gets the added benefit of smartphone connectivity.
