Royal Enfield Chip in for a Greener Italy

IN AN EXCELLENT ECOLOGICAL INITIATIVE, ROYAL ENFIELD HAVE TIED UP WITH Treedom, an Italy-based tree planting platform, who will plant a tree on behalf for Royal Enfield for every motorcycle sold in Italy. Treedom works with local Italian farmers to grow trees in their community forests and they have already planted over 800 trees on behalf of Royal Enfield. Bike buyers get to choose the type of tree they would like to have planted from the numerous options available from Treedom; each tree is photographed and geo-located, and the customer can access a dedicated webpage to keep track of their tree.

While the Royal Enfield–Treedom tie-up is currently limited to Italy, the company plans to introduce this initiative in Germany soon. Hopefully, we’ll see such initiatives closer to home in the near future.
