Zero Motorcycles Reveal 2022 Model Range
THE AMERICAN BRAND, ZERO MOTORCYCLES, HAS BEEN LEADING THE charge in the electric two-wheeler space over the last decade and its latest range of street and dual-sport machines look truly impressive.
The popular Zero S is a road-going machine powered by a passively cooled Z-Force 75-5 electric motor that puts out 34 kW (46 hp) and 105.8 Nm of twist, good for a top speed of 157 km/h. Zero claim that the 7.2-kWh lithium-ion battery will give the bike a range of 143 kilometres.
The Zero DS and DSR models are dual-sport machines that are ready to hit the trails. The DS is powered by the same motor as the S, while the higher-spec DSR is powered by the more powerful Z-Force 75-7 motor that puts out 59 kW, or 80 horses, and a healthy 157 Nm of torque for a top speed of 164 km/h, while the larger 14.4-kWh battery pack should be good for a 260-km range.
The Zero S and DS are both priced at USD 11,195 (Rs 8.25 lakh), while the DSR is priced at USD 15,695 (Rs 11.54 lakh). These bikes are currently available at Zero Motorcycles dealerships across the world.
