Commuter Conundrum

I currently own a 2008 Honda Unicorn and I am looking to upgrade to a new motorcycle. My daily commute comprises 40 kilometres and I occasionally undertake long 100-km rides with a pillion. My priorities include a mixture of both fuel efficiency and sporty riding. Is it worth buying the new TVS Raider 125 or should I go for the TVS Apache RTR 160?

If fuel efficiency and long-distance comfort for both rider and pillion are a priority, then the Raider 125 is a good replacement. If you want something slightly sportier that can also cruise at a higher speed on the highway, then the Apache RTR 160 4V is a good option. However, the fuel bills will be higher than the Raider 125’s.
