The new version of the bike comes with a mean-looking matte black colour scheme premium 3d ‘xtreme stealth’ logo on the fuel tank and ‘160r’ stickers on the rear panels. adding to the theme are neat red highlights on the headlamp cowl and on the wheel rims.

however, it’s not just about being draped in black; the stealth edition packs in some new features to complete the overall package. The existing negative lcd instrument cluster now gets five-level brightness adjustment and a gear position indicator. you also get a usB charging port positioned near the handlebar and the option of availing of smartphone connectivity as an accessory.

Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged and employs the 163-cc single-cylinder air-cooled, fuel-injected unit that makes 15.2 hp and 14 Nm. priced at rs 1.16 lakh, the hero xtreme 160r stealth edition demands a premium of about rs 2,000 over the standard rear-disc variant.
