Ducati Monster

-

For 2021, the iconic Ducati Monster has undergone major changes that have resulted into the motorcycle becoming lighter, sleeker, and more compact than ever before.

The chassis is one of the main upgrades in the new Monster. Ducati have used an aluminium front frame inspired by their flagship motorcycle, the Panigale V4. This unit is fitted directly on top of the engine and has eliminated the use of the trellis frame that the Monster models have used for so long.

The 937-cc, twin-cylinder, Desmodromic Testastretta 11° engine in the new Monster delivers 111 hp at 9,250 rpm and a peak torque of 95 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

While the standard bike is priced at Rs 10.99 lakh, the Plus variant bears a tag of Rs 11.24 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). Read our first ride review on page 26.
