KTM RC 200 and RC 125

-

The KTM RC range has undergone a major transformation for 2022, the main upgrade being an all-new chassis. Other changes include improved ergonomics, performance, updated electronics, and completely refreshed styling.

The steel trellis frame now has a bolt-on subframe at the rear, new lightweight wheels, and brakes. The clip-on handlebars have a certain level of adjustability on the RC 200 and both bikes also get a larger 13.7-litre fuel-tank. The front fairing is completely new and there are all-new LED headlamps in the KTM RC 200, while the RC 125 gets new halogen headlamps. The fairing integrates the front indicators on the edges on either side of the headlight unit as opposed to the mirror indicators in the previous model.

KTM claim that in terms of ergonomics, the knee area has been developed to allow greater rider movement, it being as narrow as possible with the largest possible contact area. The front as well as the rear seat have more padding and are now more comfortable which will make riding over longer distances easier. The engine remains unchanged. The 199.5-cc, single-cylinder engine in the RC 200 continues to produce 25.8 hp and 19.5 Nm of peak torque. In the RC 125, the 124.7cc, single-cylinder engine puts out 15 hp and 12 Nm of peak torque.

KTM are celebrating 10 years of the brand’s presence in India. As a special offer, the KTM RC 200 is available at the company’s showrooms at an introductory price of Rs 2.09 lakh, while the RC 125 is priced at Rs 1.82 lakh (both ex-showroom).
