Suzuki Avenis

The Suzuki Avenis is the latest sporty 125-cc scooter to reach our shores. It is available in two variants: the Connect, priced at Rs 86,700, and the Race edition, priced at Rs 87,000 (ex-showroom).

Aimed directly at the TVS NTorq 125 and the Yamaha Ray ZR 125, the Suzuki Avenis gets a similar design treatment, including an apronmounted LED headlamp, sharp panel styling, and an exhaust similar to the one on the Burgman Street.

Like its sibling, the Avenis comes with a 124.3-cc single-cylinder engine that produces 8.7 hp and 10 Nm. The list of features includes a fully digital LCD cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, an engine start and a kill switch, a side-stand cut-off sensor, and a USB port. This scooter costs roughly Rs 3,100 more than the popular Access 125 and Rs 2,900 less than the stylish Burgman Street.
