Ducati Panigale V4 SP
The top-spec Ducati Panigale V4 SP is now available in India with a sticker price of Rs 36.07 lakh (ex-showroom), which is about Rs 7.5 lakh more than the price of the Panigale V4 S.
Visually there’s not much to tell these two apart, barring the unique “Winter Test” livery. It takes inspiration from the company’s pre-season MotoGP and SBK motorcycles and sports black for the most part with red accents and a brushed-aluminium fuel-tank.
The noteworthy bits on the V4 SP are the Marchesini forged aluminium wheels and sticky Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres, not to forget the carbon-fibre wings, heel guards, and front fender. These specialized parts make it 1.3 kg lighter than the Panigale V4 S.
The V4 SP is powered by a 1,103-cc Desmosedici Stradale engine that punches out 214 hp and 124 Nm of torque. The top-spec model comes with Öhlins suspension and Brembo braking hardware. The electronics in the SP include a quickshifter, riding and power modes, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and even launch control. If you plan to take this beast to the racetrack, you can even opt for factory accessories such as an open carbon-fibre clutch cover, Ducati Data Analyzer+GPS module, a number-plate removal plug, and machined mirror block-off plates.
