Benelli Leoncino 250

-

Benelli India had planned a major revamp with numerous launches which had to be postponed due to the pandemic. Thankfully, now things are gradually looking up and the brand has ended 2021 with the launch of the TRK 251. Since the updated Leoncino 250 has been globally unveiled, it is only logical that the neo-retro bike should head to India.

The 250 gets a new headlamp which looks aesthetically more appealing now, apart from a new range of colours and decals. Powering it will be the familiar 26-hp, 250-cc, singlecylinder, liquid-cooled engine mounted on a steel trellis frame. Upside-down (USD) fork and a monoshock complete the suspension set-up and it also gets disc brakes at both ends. We hope Benelli will price the Leoncino 250 really aggressively, undercutting the TRK 251, which is priced at Rs 2.51 lakh (ex-showroom). Also in the queue are bikes like the heavily updated Benelli 302R and TNT 600i.
