Hero Xtreme 200 4 Valve
As seen at the India Bike Week 2021, Hero MotoCorp are projecting the Xtreme brand as performanceoriented machines, as enthusiasts drag raced the 160-cc motorcycle on the Ambey Valley airstrip at the motorcycling event. Now the company is set to re-introduce the larger-capacity Xtreme 200S fully-faired motorcycle with improved performance and rideability. The biggest change on the 199.6-cc engine is the introduction of a four-valve which replaces the older two-valve setup. This is similar to the change we saw on the Xpulse 200 4V where the bike became more easy revving and had better tractability than the two-valve motor. The Xtreme 200S 4V is expected to receive a slight jump in power, over the existing 18.1 hp and 16.45 Nm. We don’t expect to see any major design changes apart from new graphics and even a two-tone colour scheme. We expect the fourvalve model to be priced around Rs 1.30 lakh when it is launched early this year.
