KTM 790 Adventure

KTM are finally set to introduce the 790 Adventure in India this year. This is apart from their aggressive plan of launching the updated 390 Adventure and RC 390 at the beginning of 2022. People working closely with the Austrian brand have confirmed that the 790 Adventure was delayed due to the pandemic, but now the launch is imminent. This light and compact adventure tourer will be as thrilling to ride as the 790 Duke which was introduced in limited numbers in India earlier. We are getting the BS6-compliant version of the 799-cc parallel-twin which has been tuned to improve the mid-range performance. The 95 hp peaks at 8,000 rpm, while 88 Nm maxes at 6,600 rpm, while the 20-litre fuel tank promises to have a range of about 450 km before refuelling. You also get cornering and off-road ABS, ride-bywire throttle, riding modes and lean-sensitive traction control. Impressed? Then be ready to sign a cheque of almost Rs 12 lakh.
