Simple One Deliveries Postponed

-

SIMPLE ENERGY LAUNCHED THEIR FIRST ELECTRIC SCOOTER CALLED ‘One’ for the Indian market on 15 August alongside the Ola electric scooters. Deliveries for the scooter were said to start towards the end of 2021 but that did not happen. An update shared by the company now states that customers will receive their scooters starting in June 2022. After the launch, Simple Energy revealed that they received around 30,000 bookings.

This delay in production is said to be because of chipset shortage and supply chain issues. The Simple One is said to offer 203 km of range per charge, and a claimed top speed of 105 km/h. It can do a 0-40 km/h sprint in just 2.95 seconds. We hope to ride it so we can tell you about these impressive claims. Despite the delay in deliveries, the company is still accepting pre-bookings for the scooter.
