Indian Motorcycles Reveal Two New Models
INDIAN MOTORCYCLES HAVE BEEN ON A ROLL over the last month in the global market with the launch of two new motorcycles. While one of these is essentially a variant of one of their most successful motorcycles, the other is an all-new one.
The Scout Rogue is a variant of their bestselling model, the Scout. What differentiates it from the Scout range is a new headlamp cowl, mini-ape handlebar, blacked-out engine components and fenders, and a new 19-inch front wheel.
Next in line is the all-new Purist. In true sense, this is a good old American bagger that sports the PowerPlus liquid-cooled 1,768-cc V-twin that’s capable of producing 122 hp and 178 Nm. The motorcycle gets three riding modes: Rain, Standard, and Sport.
On the design front, this bagger gets a giant fairing mounted on the chassis that gives it a brawny stance. On the braking front, the motorcycle gets Brembo calipers along with a long list of electronics to keep the rider safe at all times. While we don’t have a confirmed timeline for the launch of these two motorcycles in India, we expect them to be available on order basis by the end of 2022.
