Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid

-

THE TéNéRé LINE-UP FROM YAMAHA HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE TOUGHEST motorcycles built for the road by the Japanese giant and the Ténéré 700 is arguably one of the most loved motorcycles in this line-up. Taking this to cloud nine, Yamaha have unveiled an even more potent version of the Ténéré 700, dubbed the Ténéré 700 World Raid. And just as the name suggests, it gets top-notch equipment to take on anything the world would throw at it.

For starters, the Ténéré 700 World Raid gets two side-mounted fueltanks, extending capacity to 23 litres and giving riders an estimated range of 500 kilometres. The seat is now a new flat unit that sits at

890 millimetres, allowing riders better agility. Next in line would be suspension, that’s a new set of 43-mm KYB fork at the front with 230 mm of travel followed by a piggyback shock allowing for 220 mm of travel.

Riders get a five-inch TFT display with mobile connectivity and three modes of switchable ABS alongside a USB Type A port to charge the mobile phone. The inside panelling of the cockpit area has been redesigned as well. In order to make it even more robust, Yamaha have given the Ténéré 700 World Raid a new aluminium engine guard, engine support, and radiator grille.
