Suzuki Avenis
Suzuki have launched a new base variant of their 125-cc scooter, the Avenis. Called the Standard Edition, this version is priced at Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and misses out on Bluetooth connectivity that is offered on the higher Ride Connect Edition and Race Edition variants.
The standard edition is cheaper than the Ride Connect Edition and the Race Edition by Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,800 respectively.
Despite the exclusion of connectivity, the Standard Edition still gets fully digital instrumentation that shows you info such as the time, engine temperature, vehicle speed, two trip meters, and a service indicator. Power comes from the same 8.7-hp, 10-Nm, 124.3-cc single-cylinder engine.
The list of features includes an LED headlight and tail-lamp, an external fuel filler, a USB charging socket in the front glovebox, and a side-stand engine cutoff. The Avenis shares most of its underpinnings with the Access 125, the biggest difference being its sportier styling.
