Cipla Quality Chemical picks new CEO

The Board of Directors of Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited (QCIL) has announced the appointment of Ajay Kumar Pal as Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/ Executive Director. Pal joined the company in February 2020 as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Prior to that he was Senior Director, Head of Manufacturing Cipla South Africa. Cipla Quality Chemical Industries is the Uganda-based plant of the pharmaceutical company Cipla. Pal holds a Master of Business Administration in Management and Leadership from Nelson Mandela University - South Africa and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) - India. He has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry spreading across South Africa and India. Pal takes over from Nevin Bradford who will be retiring from the company effective September 30, 2021. Bradford has been with CiplaQCIL since 2013.
