StanPlus gears up to launch air ambulances
Hyderabad-based startup StanPlus announced its foray into the air ambulance space. While the company has been operating air ambulances during the COVID-19 pandemic amid the increased demand for transferring critical patients, StanPlus will now systematically pursue it as a new vertical. The company’s air ambulances offer COVID-19, non-COVID-19, emergency, neonatal, ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and cargo transfers. It also offers options like chartered aircraft or customised economic flights, among others. Each cutting-edge ambulance is equipped with the best quality monitors, ventilators, oxygen, and emergency boxes, etc. The air ambulance space in India exists with glaring gaps that have hindered adoption in the past. Services are expensive, regions monopolised, and transparency negligible. Customer knowledge and awareness are also lacking. The differentiation being offered by StanPlus air ambulances, apart from its technological superiority, lies in its competitive prices along with an unwavering focus on quality, to bridge the specific gaps.
