Omega Healthcare appoints Anurag Mehta as CEO

Omega Healthcare Management Services, a Bengaluru-based provider of technology-enabled business process services across the healthcare ecosystem, has appointed Co-Founder and President Anurag Mehta as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The current CEO, Gopi Natarajan has decided to retire after 18 years of leading the firm. With more than 20 years of experience within the healthcare industry, Mehta will be instrumental in driving the company’s next phase of expansion. As a co-founder of Omega, Mehta has a deep understanding of the business and is well poised to spearhead the organisation into its next phase of growth with his strong leadership and extensive healthcare industry relationships. He is backed by strong leadership and management experience in startups and M&A. The first 11 years of his career were spent at Bayer Corporation, and then Mehta followed his entrepreneurial spirit in 2000 when he became Founder/CEO of a large US medical billing company which grew to nearly 1,000 employees.
