The Indian subsidiary of Swiss multinational company Ferring Pharmaceuticals generated a revenue figure of Rs 12 crore in the biopharma space during FY 20-21, showing a huge decline in business at 48 per cent in comparison to Rs 23 crore generated in FY 19-20. Ferring deals with reproductive medicine and women’s health with strong presence in areas within gastroenterology and urology. FY 20-21 saw the company announce collaborations for developing live microbiome-based therapeutics in reproductive medicine and maternal health globally.
