Singapore’s Doctor Anywhere acquires Thailand’s biggest telemedicine platform

Singapore-based startup Doctor Anywhere (DA) has acquired Doctor Raksa, the biggest telemedicine platform in Thailand, for an undisclosed amount. Launched in 2016, Doctor Raksa serves over a million users with offerings including online doctor and pharmacist consultations, electronic medical summaries, e-prescriptions and prescription refills. Since the launch of DA in 2017, it has been on the mission to deliver seamless and quality healthcare through technology and innovation. This acquisition will unlock synergies between the two platforms, widen its network of medical professionals, and consolidate resources to provide more options and better services to its providers and patients within the ecosystem. DA’s combined expertise will strengthen its infrastructure and tech capabilities to pave the way forward for a new future of telehealth in Thailand.
