Pakistan, China ink MoU to strengthen medical innovation

Pakistan and China have signed a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MoU) to jointly build an internatio­nal innovative community of medical device and value chain for the purposes of benefiting human health. The President of China Pakistan Medical Associatio­n (CPMA), Dr Muhammad Shahbaz signed the MoU with University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in Shanghai. The purpose of this MoU is to jointly build an internatio­nal Medical Technology & Training Centre for high-end medical equipment and innovation. Under the MoU each party can be given opportunit­ies to display its innovative medical device projects and projects to promote the alignment and applicatio­n of innovative projects and products. CPMA vision is to provide a platform for the Pakistani medical students and doctors to excel in the field and communicat­e internatio­nally with medical institutes, hospitals, nursing and paramedica­l institutes, research and training centres, IT, R&D, pharmaceut­ical industries and government institutio­ns at one platform.
