Moderna Korea names Sohn Ji-young as first GM
The Korean arm of the USbased firm Moderna has appointed Sohn Ji-young as its first general manager (GM). Sohn will form a team to lead Moderna’s business in Korea. The recruitment process for new employees is going on, and the company plans to establish its Korean office in Seoul. Sohn is a pharmaceutical industry expert with more than 20 years of experience in global pharmaceutical companies.
She started her career in the pharmaceutical industry at Pfizer Korea and moved to Roche Korea and Roche headquarters. Before joining Moderna Korea, she worked as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CSL Behring Korea and led the establishment of the company and the launch of new products.
