Vision maker
Anuradha Gupta, who is more than a little invested in India’s COVID-19 vaccination journey, having spent long years strengthening public health in India before she joined Gavi, has played a key role to ensure equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines across the world through the Vaccine Alliance in 2021. Prior to Gavi, Anuradha served as Mission Director of the National Health Mission of India, where she ran the largest, and possibly most complex, public health programme in the world with an annual budget of $ 3.5 billion.
