Hong Chow has stepped into Merck’s healthcare business sector as Head of China and International in 2021. In this role at Merck, Chow is leading China, Japan as well the regions Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Middle East, Africa and Russia, the franchise of Cardiovascular Metabolism & Endocrinology (CM&E), and the Global Business Innovation team. She is also serving as a member of the Healthcare Executive Committee, and is based in Shanghai, China. Chow holds German citizenship and was earlier serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Roche Pharmaceuticals in China.
