Lisa Renkin joins AusBiotech as Director, Investment
AusBiotech has announced an expanded investment attraction offering has commenced in line with a new investment attraction strategy. This strategy was developed in response to feedback from members and industry stakeholders during the development of the Biotechnology Blueprint; A Decadal
Strategy for the Australian Biotechnology Industry. To drive this expanded portfolio, Lisa Renkin has recently joined AusBiotech as Director, Investment.
Lisa is well known to many in the sector and has worked collaboratively with AusBiotech and sector stakeholders over many years. Most recently Lisa was the Victorian Deputy Commissioner to China with responsibility for the investment attraction portfolio. Prior to that appointment she worked at the Burnet Institute, leading various commercialisation activities including the expansion of the Institute’s China programme, and contributing to AusBiotech’s global investment programme in an advisory capacity.
