SK Bioscience announces scholarships to support local bio-talent
South Korean firm SK Bioscience has been striving to nurture local talents to lead the Korean bio industry. For this, the company has decided to provide scholarships to Korea Polytechnic University, Andong Science University, Catholic Sangji University, and Youngjin Junior College. Andong is the area where ‘ Andong L House ‘, a vaccine production facility of SK Bioscience, is located. Activities to foster local talent and create jobs are also underway. SK Bioscience aims to complete the development of a new plant by the end of 2024 on a new site in Andong. The company is accelerating the development of human resources by establishing an industry-university cooperation system with local universities to nurture talents tailored to vaccines. The major objective is to support human resource development so that Korea can grow into a global bio hub.
