Triv­it­ron to set up new fa­cil­i­ties across In­dia

Chennai-based med­i­cal di­ag­nos­tics com­pany Triv­it­ron Health­care is plan­ning to in­vest Rs 100 crore in the next 12-18 months, which will go into cre­at­ing new man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ties and rolling out new prod­ucts.

Through nine man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ties spread across In­dia, Fin­land, and Turkey, Triv­it­ron man­u­fac­tures prod­ucts across IVD seg­ment, imag­ing prod­ucts (ul­tra­sound/Xray/X-ray ac­ces­sories), ra­di­a­tion pro­tec­tion prod­ucts, in­ten­sive care (ICU), oper­a­tion theatre, dial­y­sis, and new­born screen­ing prod­ucts. The com­pany will be adding two more man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ties, one in Chennai to make oper­a­tion room equip­ment with an in­vest­ment of Rs 15 crore.

An­other fa­cil­ity will come up in Pune which will make X-ray equip­ment. The com­pany is wait­ing for ap­provals for this fa­cil­ity. In the com­ing 1-2 years, Triv­it­ron plans to de­velop a se­ries of new prod­ucts that will in­clude point-of-care de­vices, self-test­ing de­vices for thy­roid and other disor­ders and de­fi­cien­cies.
