Ban liquor use to promote Yoga

Bureaucracy Today - - Letters To The Editor -

The Central Government is promoting Yoga in a big way. But promoting Yoga without imposing a countrywide ban on liquor use is senseless. Evidently liquor addicts cannot take the benefits of the ancient Indian discipline of Yoga. The Prime Minister should give a direction for a study of liquor ban at least in the BJP-ruled States if not throughout the country so that it may not affect international tourism in India. Consuming liquor starts as a fashion of modern society, but later it turns into an addiction. Housewives are worst affected by their husbands spoiling money and their health because of the consumption of liquor. Madhu Agrawal, Dariba, Delhi
