Interesting fabrics, detailing and style trends emerged from the latest edition of Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018, which was held in Mumbai from August 22 to 26, 2018. Designers not only created some innovative silhouettes but also experimented with traditional fabrics by giving them a contemporary treatment with weaves as well as styles. Accessories like scarves came to centrestage, while new categories in fashion, unconventional wedding wear, style directions and the concept of oversized and layering of clothes took on a more intense profile.

Indian textiles came to the forefront in a more aggressive form, as the weavers turned contemporary in their techniques, along with high- tech digital directions to assist them.

We bring you the 10 trends from Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018 that will be seen on the fashion charts soon and will make for an interesting fashion season.
