Distance Learning Courses with a Difference

Who says informatio­n technology and related diploma courses are expensive to pursue. Get your degree from Al-Ameen Institute of Technology and look forward towards a great career ahead. The institute is affiliated to IGNOU and Jamia Millia Islamia University, and Jamia Hamdard. “In terms of quality standards teaching, courses, and infrastruc­ture, we are amongst the leaders. All classrooms are equipped with smart boards, LCDs, etc. We have a language lab as well,” says Mr. Naveen R. Bhatia. It was only two computers and a few students that saw the formation of Al-Ameen Institute of Technology in the year 1997. The steerers were Mr. Naveen R. Bhatia and Mr. Tanveer Ahmad; the latter left the collaborat­ion later. Today the institute has 2 campuses with 200 computers and 1200 students enrolled. 10 full time and 39 part time faculties constitute the strength of the institute. BCA and MCA are weekend programs conducted at its Nizamuddin wi-fi oriented campus, spread over an area of 2.5 acres and having 60 rooms. AlAmeen also runs a senior secondary school called New Horizon School, affiliated to CBSE Courses (distance learning) • BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applicatio­n) (fees – Rs. 8,000) • BA (Bachelor of Arts) • B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) • MCA (Master of Computer Applicatio (fees – Rs. 16,000) • Diploma Courses (Rs. 6000 per course) in Computer Applicatio­n & M u l t i l i ng u a l DTP (1 year), Software & Applicatio­ns (1 year), Computer Operation & Designing (6 months), Computer Hardware and Networking (6 months), Web Designing (6 months) • Certificat­e Courses in MS-Office with Internet (3 months), Desktop Publishing & Graphics Designing (3 months), C & C++ (3 months), Accounting – Tally (1 month), MSOffice with Internet (1 month). “Al-Ameen students are successful­ly placed in companies like HCL, Wipro, IBM, NIIT, to name a few,” says Mr. R. Rahman Khan, Chairman of Al-Ameen Group “Our target for the next five years is to introduce more courses. Paramedica­l, BSc. and other job oriented courses will be offered in a year’s time,” says Mr. Bhatia, who considers a blend of God’s grace and hard work for the institute’s success.
