It’s indeed very happy news that the land of meadows, streams & hills which was deserted for so long is back to normalcy. Your article which gives full details about Gulmarg, Gondala Cable Car, White Water Rafting, Pahalgam, Shikara, Dal Lake is very interestin­g for tourist & visitors. Kashmir, which is considered to be place of heaven should be visited by every Indian once in a life time. It is indeed very pleasing to know that between Jan1 & May 27 this year 5,00,000 tourists visited Gulmarg. To cope with the unpreceden­ted tourist arrivals abort 8000 a day authoritie­s have even opened about 60km from Srinagar an alternativ­e to the town. Currently, long queues of tourists are seen outside Srinagar’s many Mughal Gardens with people waiting for entry tickets to enter the Nishat, Shalimar & Chashma Shahi gardens. The Kashmir valley which is distinctiv­ely marked by breath taking lakes, fresh water Germany is the most popular country in Europe & contribute­s to 23% of the Eu budget. It is India’s biggest trading partner in Europe & the 5th biggest trading partner in the world. Germany is also India’s second largest technology partner. India was amongst the first countries to recognize Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) after the Second World War. In 2011, India & Germany celebrated 60years of establishm­ent of diplomatic relations between India & the FRG.
