We have given our students a solid foundation of the skills required in the corporate world and now we have to see how relevant they are to the industry. I am sure they will do well.”
Brig. Mehta, Registrar EBS, was the pioneer to introduce Oath in management convocation, where students promised to rightfully and ethically act in the interest of the organization, keeping their personal interest and motives behind. He later said, “We have given our students a lot of practical training and a three dimensional approach to learning that we call EBS Tri-EDGE. This includes the state of the art exposure to technology and a real life corporate interface that helped our students to develop in a holistic manner. We are now actually looking forward to the second batch’s placement that has already begun with their brilliant summer internship placements.” Present at the convocation, Ms. Rashmi Bharana, Member of Governing Board, said, “The challenge of imparting quality education to our very first batch that started in 2010 has been overwhelming as I see them getting their diploma certificates today. Now it’s up to our outgoing students to prove themselves as the future leaders in the corporate world that awaits them. Their performance in the industry will be the true testimony of the education, training, and values that we have tried to inculcate in our students. We are indeed very excited.” Elaborating on his success as the first batch of outgoing EBS students, gold medalist Anil Sharma reflected, “I was into some sort of depression when I had newly joined the institute, but EBS instilled in me a sense of confidence and made me believe that we are capable of more than what we think of ourselves. The support and guidance from the faculty and management helped me towards performing better.”
