6th Convocation of National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, Punjab
The 6th Convocation of National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali is scheduled to be held on October 13, 2012 in NIPER campus. Students (Masters/Ph.D), whose result was declared after October 22, 2011 and who have passed will be awarded degrees at the convocation.
Important Information:
• Last date of registration for attending 12, 2012). Convocation rehearsal is must for all students and no student will be allowed to attend convocation without rehearsal. • Ph.D degree recipients shall have to pay convocation fee of Rs. 500 (Paid through demand draft favoring director, NIPER and payable at Chandigarh). Masters degree recipients are not to pay any convocation fee as the same has been received from them along with their 4th semester fees. • Degree recipients are also required to pay hire charges for the gown, hood and academic caps along with refundable security in cash to the gown vendor. Please download the file containing the name list of academic session. A state-of-the-art hostel with two common rooms, dining area with kitchen and an office for wardens was also inaugurated. Built at a cost of Rs 5 crore, the hostel can accommodate 166 students. The function to mark the opening of the academic session was attended by about 350 students. Prof KK Bhutani, officiating director, NIPER, said it was moment of pride for the NIPER family to have one of its founders amongst them. He also appreciated the efforts put in by the staff in developing a dynamic postgraduate curriculum.
